Has anyone managed to tether their iphones data plan via wifi to their Mac yet?

Can anyone point me to instructions to do this. I wouldnt mind disconecting our home internet and landline if it is possible! ££

I want to use the iphones unlimited internet on my laptop. So i need to tether it iphone>laptop via wifi.

Im looking for instructions on doing this so i can then disconnect our home internet service and home phoneline to save some cash!

I, like jeffmc, do not comprehend "tether via wifi"??? I think your terminology may be slightly off.
