Tethering Issue: Anyone heard of this??

When I connect my iphone 3G OS 3.0 to my laptop on the 3g network via USB for tethering, it will last for a few minutes and then my vista based laptop will say there is no internet connection. I will then have to pull the USB cable out then plug it in to get it to work.

Okay, I've tried with EDGE and I'm getting the same problem. Err...
