I'm able to see my ip4 in the list of bluetooth devices and connect to it successfully - the phone even shows the blue band at the top suggesting that it's transmitting data. I'm not able to connect to the internet however.

Digging deeper into System Preferences I can see the phone listed as connected in my Bluetooth screen but in the Network screen my Bluetooth PAN is not connected. Oddly the drop-down for devices has the phone listed and the only option is to disconnect.

Anyone else had this experience?

In netowrk preferences where the ports are shown I deleted the bluetooth PAN port that was connected to the iphone but not working, and made a new one, renamed it iphone bluetooth and then it worked straight away.
