Anyone know what's up with that diamond face sticking its tongue out? If you draw a line on the screen in certain directions (left to right, bottom to top), the face shows up and animates. What's it for?

Anyone know what's up with that diamond face sticking its tongue out? If you draw a line on the screen in certain directions (left to right, bottom to top), the face shows up and animates. What's it for?
I'd like to know too. I've got him a few times 
. I'm no poker expert so just assumed he shows up at a specific time when I've a certain hand. He only is there after installing the update (as is the welcome bolding of the typeface on the cards).

Sad thing is, they don't document on how to use them
You just swipe up, down, left, right, or diagonal.
