Text/Chat Message Question

I had someone at work ask me if there is a way to change the colors of the text bubbles. It's something that I couldn't answer for sure. Is there an app that can do it for her? I'm not interested in jailbreaking at all. Thanks in advance!

There is no way to change colors of text bubbles in the Messages app. The colors (green and blue) have fairly established meaning attached to them in the Apple ecosystem in relation to messages and providing the ability to customize them would basically undermine that meaning.
