Text formatting in Mail.app

I think it's absurd that the Mail app there is absolutely no function to format text. Even the simplest colors, bold, italic, underlined.

Do you think we're going to see some implementation in iOS 4?

Does it annoy me? Yes. Are we going to see it in 4.0? Most likely not. I have 4.0 on my iPod touch and still cannot edit mail.
