Text Message Updates on Apple Store Order

I ordered a homepod mini. It was back ordered a few weeks.

Apple has bumped up the shipping date apparently, but now I keep getting the exact same text message update about it.

I’ve gotten 4 texts with the same update today already so far. The number is 877-32. The order number is legit but this just seems very weird. Any ideas? Is that normal? It didn’t appear to be a phishing attempt.

Its normal to get text updates from Apple when there is any change at all. I have never gotten 4 in a row, though.

Thanks. They were a few hours apart. The updates themselves were the exact same and just notified me of my new shipping estimates. But again, no changes between them - same texts

as I wrote this a fifth came in. From 88372. All of them.

Sounds like a glitch on Apple’s end. I wouldn’t worry about it.
