Hi everyone,

So a few days ago I dropped my phone and the screen cracked. Since i planned on changing the screen, I tried to back my phone up but it would not work. Kept getting this iPhone cannot be synched and the iPhone is getting disconnected everytime i tried to back up. I used diff usb cables, diff ports, i put the phone on airplane mode, low battery mode and turned off background app refresh and still nothing. So I had to go change my screen without a backup.

Shortly before I took my phone in, I was texting family and friends and then ll of a sudden all of my texts just disappeared. All of them. I thought it was a bug so i went ahead and took my phone in. They fixed the screen and when I got home i back my phone up and this time it worked. My texts still hadnt come up and my calendar had cleared ofall events I have and my safari had closed all of my tabs that ive had saved for the last month or so.

When I check my storage i can see that my text messages account for 15gb of my storage. Which means my messages are still there somewhere. And if i use the search bar in messages - any messages ive had that contains whatevee I search come up but when i click on them - they disappear. I have tried everything but idk how to get my texts back. Has anyone ever experienced this??

Turn iCloud off restart then turn it back on. Make sure on wifi. And it should pop back up
