I have a family plan with 2 iphones on it. I assumed that the plan included a total of 200 messages to be split between the iphones since the plan description says 700 mins/ 200 messages/ unlimited data. What i have noticed is that on my account page each phone has what appears to be 200 messages each. (each phone shows a different amount of messages remaining). Has anyone else experienced this? Am i miss interpreting?

I need to call AT&T actually b/c my bill shows my messages as included but my wife's messages as billed separately at $.15 per. I just figured that 1400 shared minutes also meant 200 shared messages.

The minutes are shared but the SMS messages are per line, so you get 200 per phone. You can also ask for a $25 plan (basic iPhone plan is $20) and you get 200 SMS plus UNLIMITED mobile-to-mobile (AT&T only). The 200 is only deducted from when you send messages to other carriers. I have this since my wife and I send a lot to each other.
