Text messaging plan?

I'm using a 1st gen iPhone on AT&T. I unlocked it so I don't have to use an iPhone plan. Basically everythings fine except text messages are 20-cents per message. I need a texting option that has like 200 messages or something. What would be one compatible with the iPhone?

individual text plans with att are $5 for 200, $15 for 1500, and $20 for unlimited - if on family plan you can do unlimited on all phones for $30

Yup, the $5 for 200 messages works for any phone on AT&T (at least regular phones, iphone, blackberries etc.).

you can just do it online if you want, just sign into your account/set up an account at the AT&T wireless site and hit 'manage options'
