TextEdit will not save any longer. I get a dialog that states I don't have permissions even though I do.
These are the things I've done.
1. deleted all the textedit prefs
2. rebuilt the permissions using terminal
3. Reset PRAM
4. Held 'shift key' down hoping something else was interfering (no)
5. Tried changing permissions in the program and user. Would not allow me to make changes in the program
6. Booted from an external driver where Textedit works and replaced the one in my computer with a copy of the working one.
7. Did Cmd/Option R and resinstalled the OS.
None of the above has fixed.
IF I go into another User account I can get it to save.
