Hey guys i am on my 3rd white iphone 3g and i have the same problems no texting sound after awhile and when i go to sound settings i set it to max and then magicly it goes down to halfway im pretty sure this is firmware bug i hope it is and i hope they fix it soon!!

go to settings > general > about > and halfway down it says version. tell me what it says it that line

no idea then...... my friend is having this same problem and is currently restoring his iphone to the 437 one, so.... ionno... it has to be the firmware... so hopefully they fix this
