Texting Android users split into two threads

When I text android users it splits the texts into two threads, one thread has only sent messages and one thread has all my received messages. I have experienced it before with imessage send and receive before, but now this is different since it is only with text (sms) messages.

Happens when im in a group chat with noniphone users.

I've had it with group chats before, but this is 1 on 1 and some messages are supposedly not being received by the other user.
