Texting Apps Question

I recently got an iphone 3gs the firmware is 3.1.3 stock so I can't jailbreak the phone.

My job requires that I am on call and I receive the pages through a text message on my phone. None of the sms tones on the iphone will wake me in the middle of the night. As of right now, I am changing back to my Blackberry at night.

I have tried two of the sms apps but neither would let me create a tone. So, my question is does anyone know if there is an sms app that allows you create a custom tone or any that have longer tones.

Nope, nothing on a stock iphone will let you change any of the default SMS tones.

I have tried TextNow and Textfree neither would let me change the tone to anything that would wake me up. Are there any other Texting Apps that let you use a custom tone? Thanks!

There's also Text+ made by GOGII... It lets you choose different types of tones. Hope it helps...
