Texting key pressing lag?

Sometimes when I get a text and reply to it, I try to input the text, but each letter lags for about 2 seconds and it doesn't let me back out until all the letters I inputted are finished typing. This can be a real pain in the ass. Is this a bug or is there anything I can do to fix this?

It seems to be a common occurence with 2.0…
Hopefully 2.0.1 etc will fix that asap.

This just started with mine yesterday. It is driving me nuts....but I still heart my iphone

Same thing here! Its crazy that Apple can release 2.0 with problems like this

I have this problem as well. The only way I can remedy it is if I restart my phone. I wonder what causes it because nothing else runs slower (i.e. I don't think its a memory issue).
