Texting more than 3 pics

When I try to send more than 3 pics in iMessage, in a group chat with 3 people, I can no longer send individual pics... iOS now creates a iCloud album and then sends a link to the album. The worst part is that if you’re not charging, it won’t upload the pics. It just says “Uploading paused for 8 pictures, saving battery power”..... I’m on 85% battery. Is anyone else experiencing this? Seems ridiculous.

Just copy them instead of choosing Message
