Please tell me whether it is safe to use the RAM memory bar with a chip on the textolite in the area of the slot-retainer? I gave the RAM memory bar to a friend for a while,so that he tried it out in action. Returned with a chip. A small chip - 1mm-1.5 mm in size,silver-colored metal is visible. Will there be a short circuit?

Without hesitation,I restored the chipped section of the Board with the exposed chain element with epoxy resin, having previously treated the area with sandpaper under a microscope. Then I checked the memory module for damage to memory banks and a possible short circuit in the power supply circuit. Checking for errors and problems did not cause. Memory worked without problems
