TF 2 Insane fps

hi,
i played tf2 in windows for a long time, today i installed tf2 in my mac os x and the fps are completely insane... with everything in low they go from 15fps to 70fps... very unstable... in windows was so much more stable and higher.

does any one have the same prob?

i have a macbook pro late 2008 geforce 9600 512mb, 4gb

If you read any posts made today in the game forum, you'll know the answer.
There are at least five active threads about it.

The obvious solution is use Windows 7 for gaming.
