TF2 Problems?

I love playing a nice game of TF2 while watching south park on Netflix, so I just put them both in windows right next to each other and enjoy. The problem is, when I start up TF2, the computer goes extremely laggy, and it won't let me click start playing. It doesn't light up or anything, no matter how many times I restart the program. It may start working at random, but that's no guarantee. I re-installed Snow Leopard today in hope that it would work, but after a while the same problem continued. Anyone else have this glitch? Is there a fix?

I've had the same problem. I'm still using Leopard though. Havent had the time to upgrade to 10.6 yet, i had been hoping it was just an issue with 10.5
