TF2 Spray Paint Issue

I know this may seem like a small issue.
But my spray paint/logo doesn't show up at all in-game or even in my multiplayer options menu...

It only appears as a pink/black checkered box.
The drop-down menu doesn't work, and none of the files I try to import work.
I've only tried uploading the recommended size and file type (.vtf), and still get the same results...

Is this a Steam for Mac only thing? My L4D2 spray seems to work fine though...

I hope someone can help.

That shows up when there is a missing texture, but I wouldn't know why it would be missing sorry.
