Before I installed this app it was miserable not being able to use pandora and surf the web or check my email at the same time, etc. Today I was able to listen to my ipod music, use Trapster to notify me of police presence and also use navigon to find my way. It was great.

Cool. I'm sure god cares about your ability to multitask on the iPhone.

one thing i love about backgrounder with the 3gs is that when i am running a navigation program, the dot on the app representing my car will still move when the app is running in the background. on my 3g, it would have to update the dot to where my car was when i reopened the app. i really enjoy this because i plan on running g-maps, trapster, and slacker/pandora at the same time so i can hear music, use navigation through g-maps, and get trap alerts through trapster (since the gps point will still move even though its running in the background) i hope it works like this!

hey im glad that it works for you. i am not to sure why my 3g did not keep up with my gps signal while g-maps was running in the background. i have a V1 radar detector so ill see how useful trapster really is on a long drive this weekend
