Was I the only one having major issues with my phone not waking from sleep mode? It would do it at least 3 times a day...I would get so frustrated. But with the new update, this problem is gone. :D

If by only one you mean a 150+ page thread at the official apple forums, then yes, you were the only one.

I had this happen more than once. I would restart the phone and it would freeze on the apple logo and I would have to restart the phone again.

Yes apple, thank you so much for putting out a fix for a problem you should of not had in the first place! You're so awesome! what happened to RD?

This is the worst post I've ever seen......And I just came here from 4chan!

Also, it's nice that someone made a positive thread for once. Kudos to the OP.

I had the wake from sleep problem twice, both times last week. I thought my battery was dead cuz I knew it had a full charge. The iPhone seems to be doing great on the new update.

I never had the sleep/wake problem but my battery was ****, let's give it a few days to see if it *hopefully* fixed it. New update installed fine.

I'm going back to 3.0. Since I upgraded, my battery drains to about 67% overnight just sitting there for six hours. I never had any problems with 3.0 and my battery would last 2-3 days.

Me too OP. Was having coma problems with 3.1 so downgraded to 3.0. Update came and I took it. It's perfect now. Not missed a call or found random voicemails coming in when I know I was in a good coverage area. Nice one Apple. I knew you'd do it lol!

LoL... the worst post huh. They put out an update that they spent hella time putting together that caused a problem with their product they where trying to improve. I don't bag on apple very much but to thank them for fixing a problem they caused in the first place is a bit silly. So they didn't know this was an issue? They didn't find the coma issue on ANY of the phones they tested 3.1 on? It was a totally unique issue with jon-q-iPhone user? Yeah reality is calling, pick up the phone.

I downloaded the 3.1.2 update and I am still having issues with my iPhone not waking up from sleep mode. The problem is not as bad but it is still there.

I was loving this update. Seemed to improve my battery life.

BUT, for the first time, I had a problem with my phone. It was asleep and wouldn't reason in any way. Couldn't get it to turn on, didn't know if it was on or not, no response. So I had to connect to iTunes and do a restore. All seems fine now but im not sure what happened. Was scared though!

right that does it, I am staying on 3.0.1!

3.1.2 has fixed my battery on my 3G iPhone. I also did a restore as new iPhone to get it working.

On my 3GS, I tried 3.1.2 and had horrible battery life. I may try doing it as a new phone to see how it goes but for now I am back on 3.0 on this phone.

I had a 3gs on 3.0.1 but had to trade it in today and got one with 3.1 so I updated to 3.1.2 since I don't really have any other options. (I JB BTW) seems to be okay and I do like the few extra features it provides.
