Just wanted to Thank You guys for all the help and support you guys have given me. I've posted about four times with concerns about purchasing another Mac. I went from the Black Macbook to the Macbook Pro. My latest posted was concerning the screen type and I think I will go with the Matte finish. Below are the system specs.

Macbook Pro 15" Matte
Core 2 Duo 2.33ghz
2gig DDR2 RAM
ATI X1600 256 Video
120gig HDD

$2,462.23 w/ shipping

The system I picked will be used for Photoshop, Macromedia Web Dev, Parallels with Linux and Windows, and some World of Warcraft. If you guys think this system won't satisfy me in any of these areas please let me know. I am aware that Photoshop CS2 won't perform as fast as the Windows version, CS3 will be the resolution.

I'll let you guys know when I click on the SUBMIT button.

My friend runs wow on those same specs, says it runs perfectly. Now, i bought my mbp in early september, for around £1300 w/ student discount, and just realised you have the best 15" at the lower price range compared to the UK, does anyone know if i could buy from apple.com and get sent to the UK, to save bigtime on a better computer. If this was possible, i think id sell my current machine, and get a c2d. Thanks(sorry for semi ruining thread, but i think its cleared up you got the best machine possible)

Only way I'm getting that price is cause of my company discount; don't want to name names. But since we designed the G5 for Apple we under contract get discounts with Apple.

Well I did it!! And not only was I eager to go buy it today, but my wife pushed me out the door to go get it so I would build a new website for our family. So far the thing is a beauty. I checked and was very happy that I got the Hitachi Hard drive. I did only go with the 120gig drive, I don't think I would've used 160mb.

So WOW!

Damnit. I was gonna tell you that I got the same machine specced as yours expect with the 200GB HDD for 2159$ using the Apple Developer Discount. Oh well....The MacBook Pro of legend surely is a beautiful thing, isn't it?
