last time I checked, there's no Intel version for that yet.

you can install in by going to installer in applications, right clicking, ans selecting run in rosetta. install, it, return the install tool back to NOT run in rosetta, then run your browser in rosetta, and it should work fine,

hope that helps

rosetta will slow down your browser a bit, so you could always have 2 browsers installed, one set to run in rosetta, and one not!

hope that helps, let me know how you get on

cheers

heh, that's quite a workaround there. Does that also work if I don't want to watch in browser but rather in a separate quicktime window? Do I have to run quicktime in rosetta?

Personally, I would just wait for the intel version. You have an intel mac, why run everything in a PPC emulator (like safari and quicktime)...just wait, I'm sure it will be out soon...

currently without going through that whole rosetta process, is there a simple way to watch wmv files such as those at thatvideosite.com on an intel mac?

download VLC Media Player, plays pretty much n e thing, that should work...

i do have the VLC player but I still cannot view web-based wmv content such as that on thatvideosite.com. maybe it's because I have an intel mac.

If you install the Intel Popwire WMV codec, then use the "Download video" buttons, it works perfectly. At least for me it does.

Sure, it's one extra step, but it's not that big of a hassle and it's not like you're going to be stuck doing it for the rest of your life--the Flip4Mac non-beta version should be out and supporting embedded video soon entough.
