I'm coming to the end of my contract with Three (in Australia) and I realised today that I will move to the network who gets the iphone.

In OZ it's not even been decided when and who will take the phone and it could be 2 years away.

I could get an Nokia N95 NOW though. It was featured on TV today and it does seem awesome. The GPS is a killer feature. However it looks hideous, is twice as thick as iphone and doesn't have multitouch.

iphone will have 3g when it gets here(it's only EDGE as the US doesn't have a big 3g network so that's the reason, no panic ) so it may come to 3 (but I have a hunch vodafone will get it) if all goes well ( and the launch isn't a disaster) I am willing to wait 2 years to get one (well on the other hand I could get the N95 now and then the iphone later....)

If I am typical then its no wonder the big phone companies are worried

I could get an Nokia N95 NOW though.

My Cingular contract ends - interestingly enough - on June 11th. The other phone I'm looking at is the n95 (I'll get it if Cingular nickels and dimes for data plans). When Apple's phone was announced, I was 90% pro Apple & 10% Nokia. These days it's 50%-50%. I'd really prefer the Apple (although the camera's pretty wimpy).
