The AirPods case design is not only best in class, but also best Jony Ive device design ever!

I realize there is plenty room for debate on the sound and fit of Airpods vs their wireless earbud competitors.

However, among all of the device cases in this class, there is no better case design than the AirPods case - - it's not even close.

I would go so far as to nominate just the AirPods case itself as the single best Jony Ive device design of all-time!

I love how it fits unobtrusively in my pocket, and is almost always easy to fish out even when in there with other objects. It truly is masterful in its simplicity.

And it’s durable as heck. I accidentally put it in the washer, and it’s still working perfectly.
