What do you wish your macbook had?
Keep it reasonable, no Ati 1900xt or anything like that

my list:
1. a better gpu, with dedicated ram.
2. Louder speakers
3. a right click button for when im running windows, so i dont have to press 5 buttons when i just want to press one
4. a 7,200 rpm hard drive
5. a regular dvi slot
6. one of those new heatsinks :p, or the ability to turn off the random shutdowns in energy saver like this:

Excluding the right click button, you should have got a MacBook Pro.

You are clearly not who Apple had in mind with the MacBook.

dedicated graphics card... the backlit keyboard would be a nice touch, but i can live without it.

RAM and HDD can be upgraded. So the GPU is about *IT*

I must disagree because I don't think anyone can read an apple's mind.

I bought my macbook for its portability, I love it the way it is. I mainly use it for everyday tasks. I game on it maybe 30 mins per week, and the gaming aspect is why I would like some improvements.

Dedicated graphics memory is my main concern. Also, 1 gig of ram standard would be nice!

an alternative spec Apple should have is a stain-resistant case. the white looks great, but the dirty palm-rest is a bummer on the eyes. its the most obvious gripe people have.....Apple's R&D guys have to know about some space-age material they could make the case with...

Louder speakers. They are probably set low in hardware somehow, it may not need better speakers at all.

If it had the speakers, a matte screen and lighted keyboard, I'd probably find a way to use the MB instead of the Pro. As it is, I'm waiting for them to add a couple things to the Pro, anyway.
