If you find some way of attaching a TV tuner to it, yes. Are we talking about a current display or an older one?

I have an El Gato EyeTV 400 hooked up to my Power Mac G5 which allows me to use it as a TV. There are also stand alone products out there that you can hook up to a monitor to watch TV, not sure of any brand names because as soon as I found El Gato I gave up my search.

yeh man,.. get the elgato eye tv or MigilaDTT reciever,.

recieves digital terrestial and digital freeview channels

which means you can record straight on your harddrive too

and make copys of what ever tv program, you can get it for satellite too

this one is as small as a shuffle and plugs straight in either with its own ariel or via the mains AV socket(which wil give you 100% reception and perfect picture)

Only if you have an HDTV Tuner with DVI-D Output, and a DVI Apple Display. However, you will then need some sort of audio receiver to listen to it.

You could also go the eyeTV route and watch it through your computer, but the drawback is the delay if you wanted to use it for gaming.

What would be cooler than having a 30" Cinema Display in your living room, coupled with a metallic 5.1 system for sound?

If you're willing to spend $3000 on a 30" TV, you might as well toss in a few hundred more for a high-end tuner and sound system. ;)

Otherwise, you can get a much bigger screen for less, that is ready to go with TV features. Not Apple, maybe, but some are just as thoughtfully designed.
