The new Vaio company has updated it's gorgeous 13" Vaio Surface Pro / iPad Pro / ultrabook competitor, anyone interested? It's expensive though.

Does it have the 28 watt Skylake CPU though? I have no idea hence asking. I know it has that GPU in the keyboard add on.
The wattage is less on the Surface Pro 4 and Book. However the Surface Pro and Book had an update or will be having an update that enables Speed Shift on Skylake CPU's.
From what I have been reading, the pen on the Sony has a much slower reaction time than the Surface. Also, keep this in mind. The Surface is to a Nexus as The Vaio is to a Samsung Galaxy Sx. The reason, Sony loads bloat like none other which could be the biggest issue with lag on the tablet.
I would ignore the bloatware as it's a PC, just uninstall it all. I guess they couldn't do that in the review as it was a prototype unit they had.
Will be interesting to see a side by side comparison as this Sony uses Ntrig too.

Think of it as Frequency on demand.
"Speed Shift: Delivers dramatically quicker responsiveness with single-threaded (short duration) workloads, such as web browsing, by allowing the processor to more quickly select its best operating frequency and voltage for optimal performance and power efficiency"
Speed Shift is by no means going to improve an overall score of a benchmark, but on certain operations, it will adjust accordingly.
This is an interesting machine. A select few of the older VAIO models were quite good, others not so much. I had a couple. So I'm going to pickup one of these to see what it's like. Speed Shift is intriguing.
The price is a joke. $1799 8gb/256gb/i5 is not going to cut it in today's market. SP4 has higher resolution, the kickstand, etc. Sony Vaio died because their products were too expensive, and now that they are there own company they think people will somehow pay more for the name?
