Had the Pros for about a month now and I absolutely love them, just a question about the auto connect feature on them,

I initially set them up with my iphone 11, but since then I have used them with my Apple Watch (without the phone) and also with the iPad (as I’m doing now actually)

But I mainly use them 95% with my iPhone, and when I take my AirPods out of the case I will have my iPhone nearby, and when I put them in my ears I hear the beep (which I’m guessing is the connected sound), I look on the phone to see if its connected and for whatever reason the AirPods haven't. I still have to connect them manually through control centre through Bluetooth...

Shouldnt the AirPods just connect automatically to the nearest device that is on my iCloud ? Has this become a problem for anyone else? And why is it happening?

Thanks

They’ll connect to the LAST used device automatically.
:)

IOS14 is bringing auto-switching, so that they’ll connect between devices without you needing to manually select them.

This.

You're in for a treat with your Pro's once iOS14 is released...see here
