I just got this email from iTunes... I watched Avengers on my ATV3 on day one of availability. I never turned on subtitles...

But sure enough, I have a movie credit in iTunes!

Anyone else in my situation?

Dear iTunes Customer,
Thank you for downloading The Avengers. Unfortunately, the movie you received may have had issues with the subtitles. We apologize for the issue and have added a free movie rental credit to your account. Your free credit appears next to your account name once you're signed in. If you do not see it, sign out of your iTunes account and then sign back in to refresh. The sign out and sign in functions are found under the Store menu of iTunes.
Sincerely,
iTunes Store Team

Confirmed

The only issue I saw was on the interrogation scene between the Russians and the Black Widow. It was only 1-2 minutes at most. To me was not an issue but I’ll take a free iTunes movie rental since they are ridiculously overpriced (IMO).
