So the awsomeness just arived last night. Not exactly in the way one would expect it to though. I'm sitting here at work yesterday and I decide to check on my shipping info (for the third time in 2 days) Yup it's still the same. Shipping on Mar 24 at my door OOA 31 mar. That's crap i think. I have some computing i need to do. I need a computer. I call the apple store in Corte Madera (cali) No dice (makes sad face) Call the store in SF, wait list and still no luck.(once again sad face).
'Jeez' i think 'how will i get all of my computing done? This computing can not wait 4 more weeks'.
*lightbulb* there is a new Apple store in Santa Rosa. *Ring*
'hello this is apple'
'hello this is me i need a MBP'
'ok come pick it up'
'rad see you in a few'.
I drive up and pick up the lappy. I get it home and all is well. The computing gets done and life is good.
First impression of the MBP (and mac itself for that matter)
1. It's hands down as smart as you would expect a computer to be.
a. I turned it on it asks me a few questions and your'e ready to go.
b. It automatically sees that i have a wireless network and lets me get on the internet.
c. No hastle with set up, hidden menus, settings, running apps or programs.
2. OSX, while i'm still confused by it is a lot easier to use than XP.
3. It cooked my thighs to a medium/ well because i refused to take the lap top off of the top of my lap.
4. I only played with it for an hour or so and had no idea what i was doing so i expect to learn a lot more about it later. So far so good though.
