What was the Number of battery cycle count of 2019 brand new Macbook pros you have on first launch?

Mine was 2

Mine came with 1. Battery charge percentage was about 80%.

That charge cycle count is acting up in my unit. I get only about 80% or less real battery until cycle count always increase by 1.

What is your cycle count now and how long have you had the machine?

15 but I have counted my actual usage percentages nearly all the time I've had it and I can say for sure that percentages measured by CoconutBattery do not add up to even near 100%. The last cycle increase I measured 77.3%!!!

How many days have you had the computer? I understand about the cycle count. Just wondering how many cycles per day you are averaging. I've got a 2.4 13" that i've had since June 1st. it has 40 cycles. That's 72 days, so averaging just over 1 cycle every two days. Light to moderate use during this time.
[doublepost=1565574981][/doublepost]In another thread a poster suggested that the percentage meter must be wrong. I am wondering if there's not something to that theory.

What is the highest number of cycle count on first look which we can accept that the device is never used before by another person?

Because the way Charge Cycles are counted (total battery use from 100% to 0% or any smaller parts, like 2 x 100% to 50% which add up to even 100%) it is totally useless to count days for how long one has had the unit because it is completely depending on use. One person could use on battery for 1 hour a day and another 10 hours a day, or anything between that...

I have tracked my Charge Cycles increases by tracking my actual percentage how much I have really used the battery. I don't even try to estimate anything, as it is pointless if your try to do this by "feeling".
With my unit so far Charge Cycle counter has been increasing by 1 every 1 to 3 days (depending on how much I used it on battery at the time).

I've been measuring my actual battery use, and so far counter seems to increase about every 80% or less actual battery use. So if no one is actually counting their real use, it is impossible to say how much they really get real use per charge cycle.

You mentioned your CC count and days, and that light to moderate use, but can you say exactly how many hours total use on battery and how many percentage of battery you have used in that time? I bet you don't.

Actual use for me is 72 days and 40 cycle counts. At my present rate of usage, it will take me almost 5 years to realize 1000 cycle counts (which is what Apple states is the expected cycle count for my model). I was just trying to ascertain the length of time your battery would last based on your present usage. I understand and agree with you that you are experiencing less than 100% use on your battery. However, I was just trying to see what that equates to in longevity of the battery.

I get your point but I don't believe these batteries sold today in almost any gear will last anywhere near 1000 charge cycles (or what ever manufacturer claims them to last) no matter which way it is counting it. Sure, in my use that 1000 cycles at the current rate would easily take me to 5 year ahead, or 6 in case it was running at the rate it is supposed to run, but I don't believe a second this battery will last 1000 cycles. Also I haven't seen any statement anywhere for how many charge cycles Entry MBP 2019 battery is rated for?
