I've tried BargainBin, AppSniper, Pandora Box, Appminer, and Store Extend. I have to say that AppSniper is the best of this group, though it does cost 99 cents.

99cents is peanuts compared to the savings you will make from the AppSniper app. I have it and it's great!

Just wondering if AppSniper works. The ratings on iTunes seem negative as well as one who said the recent version doesn't work well.

I just use appshopper.com

I created a wish list and then subscribe to the RSS feed for my wishlist.

When an app goes on sale, I see it in my RSS reader.

The new version works great for me. It wasn't working well at all before the last update.

BargainBin 3.0

It has push notifications.

You can set what price you are willing to pay for an app and it will alert you when the app gets to or below that price.

I've kept coming back to AppSniper because it was the only one I had tried that keeps track of what you have already seen and only highlights the ones you haven't seen. It performs much better in its most recent version too.

I will try some of the others mentioned in this thread. I've discarded PandoraBox and AppMiner because they don't keep track of what I have already seen.

I got the update yesterday as well! For some reason though now, whenever I open BargainBin, no items show up unless I refresh it again. Has that happened with you?

Sorry OP, I haven't downloaded it yet.

I like my RSS feed method good enough because it lets me know of all updates to my wish list, not just price drops.

Bought Appsniper yesterday as this thread made it sound pretty good.

Woke up today to find it had been updated (yeah). Already found an app I wanted that Appsniper showed went on sale (that saved me the cost of Appsniper in one day). Pretty darn happy.
