HEY
I want to get macbook pro.
I know its come with 2 GB RAM and 120GB 5400 HD

I think to upgrade it to
4 GB RAM and 160GB 7200 HD.

IF I do this upgrade do I got alot faster than the normal one?
and it cost me 320$ for the RAM.
and 180$ FOR the HD.

what I have to do?
I will get my MBP on the 23rd.

I don't have an answer for your question, but I do have a recommendation. Get this memory kit instead.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231135

It's $165 and a MBP compatible 2x2gb kit. I believe the MBP memory speed is only 667MHz anyway, although the CPU runs at 800MHz FSB.

That is correct. The MacBooks (all of them, Pro and non-Pro, Core, Core 2, Core 2 Santa Rosa) all use DDR2-667 PC5300 SO-DIMMs. So that is what you are looking for. No absolute need to find MBP specific RAM, the Intel Chipset really helps with that.
