the caller cannot hear me

Since yesterdays in almost of the calls I make or receive, the person in the other side cannot hear my voice, and I have to activate the speakerphone to my voice be heard.
I have checked all the settings but I couldn't figure out what is happening.
Any help?

I had the same problem. Your mic has most likely gone out or has limited pick up. This is most likely a hardware issue, so you can take it to the genius bar for replacement if you are still under warranty.

I had this problem with my 3g. try turning the 3g off. It will work. Call atnt and they will seee if its a network problem. Mine was so in a few days it worked again.

I had the same exact problem, and I took it to the Apple Store to get it replaced. Make sure you restore it to a new phone, and also check ATT to make sure their network is running okay. Most likely its a hardware malfunction. I have heard this story happen a lot.
