The color is weird after I inverted the colors and re-inverted them.

The color is off. The screensaver photos are showing all weird colored.

It seems like it's a contrast problem. I just saw shortkey for controlling contrast, but not sure exactly where is the default. I just want it to be default contrast instead of going up and down.
