So recently i tend to "read" my books either electronically or as audio-book (through the iphone app "Stanza" or itunes/ Audible).

But one thing that bugs me a little is that these books don't end up on my book-shelf. I know it's stupid but it's cool to have books on the shelf so people visiting you see you're actually reading books :D

Now one solution would be to buy these books as physical version too but it's a bit of wasted money.

What do you think?

I feel the same way, I love reading(when the transit workers get back to work I can read on the bus again) but eBooks are just so much more convenient. I have the same dilemma, I like having bookshelves with my collection, so if I am feeling like it I can laze out on the couch with a book, which is so much better than an eBook.

Solution, try used book stores or store clearances, I have gotten a lot of my books used and in good condition for a quarter of the new price.
