Help
Trying to restore to factory settings to either reuse or sell as it slowed to a snail's pace.
Get the error message in the title. I thought I had followed all the instructions to delete and restore correctly.
It says use Disk Utility to enable journaling.
But when I quit macOs install and go to Disk Utility the Volume buttons are greyed out.
Any suggestions to compete my restore?
Thanks

I suspect you’re getting tripped up at step 6. It’s very important that you boot from Recovery as instructed. I recommend printing the instructions and following step by step. You cannot format or erase the volume you’re booted from. That’s why the buttons are grayed out.
