The disk "Macintosh HD - Data" can't be unlocked

A few days ago I updated my 2017 MacBook Air from Catalina to Big Sur. When I start the computer now, a window appears that says, "The disk 'Macintosh HD - Data' can't be unlocked. A problem was detected with the disk that prevents it from being unlocked" (see attached image) I click OK, and the windows disappears, and everything seems to run normally.

I booted in Recovery mode and ran First Aid on all the listed volumes. They all checked out OK, except for Container 3, which couldn't be tested because it was locked. So how do I unlock the container?

In addition, "enable journaling" is gray on all these volumes, if that even matters.

Is this a hardware problem--something wrong with the disk itself, or does it have something to do with the Big Sur upgrade? Should I reinstall Big Sur on top of my recent upgrade?

Is your drive encrypted? The reason I asked that, is another user from another forum has the same issue, that question was asked.

I solved the problem. For those who may also have this problem, here's what I did: Recovery mode's Disk Utility showed a double identical listing for Macintosh HD - Data. Everything appeared the same except one drive was mounted and the other was not. I deleted the unmounted drive. I wasn't worried about saving data--I'd already done that. After both a restart and a shutdown and restart, the warning disappeared.
