I am worried about how fast apple is growing, does any one else feel the same?

apple has entered so many markets in small amount of time. In 10 years they enter music industry by inventing music player, add to it selling music by the first music online store, then they add entertainment to it by including movies and shows and making the ipod a video player too.

They enter the cell-phone market trying to beat both pda's and regular mobile phones. They open phone app store.

other products roll out including an Apple TV, building routers, developing software of photographers and video Office appliction iwork, they open their own retail apple stores, they are going world-wide with it.

I believe in the saying" the faster they rise, the harder they fall"

lets not forget that apple makes the software AND the hardware and they only work with each other. I also don't think that one company can handle so much growth because the world is a lot to manage.

The bigger the apple users are , the less focus there will be on quality and the well being of the consumer. It will be another corporate monster like Microsoft , that will put out anything for the return of money and profit.

I think I already started to see this as we hear apple product has flaws in them like the many complaints about leopard and now mobileme they also made .mac a paid for service, lets not forget the laptop battery heat problem. I am not worried where we are, it is where we are heading that worries me.

I get concerned, too, and I hope that Apple really keeps up with the quality of their products, current and new. They really need to set a more conservative timeline for product launches, so they can work out more of the bugs. And hopefully learn the tremendous effort needed for smooth world-wide product launch.

I think Snow Leopard is proof that they are aware of this.

Look at the newest iMac design, iPhone 3G, Time Capsule and Apple TV2 Software.

Apple could have done something completely radical with those. The iMac could have been completely different, as with the 3G. The Time Capsule could have been more than just an Airport Extreme with a Hard Drive, and instead of a Software Update, the Apple TV could have been completely redesigned.

Now with Snow Leopard, it looks like they are refining their products, rather than radically changing them.

The only thing I can see radically changing is iPods because consumers get tired quickly.

Like the iMac, I can see the Macbooks getting slight case redesigns but probably nothing more than the technologies we already see in Apple Products.

Of course, I may be wrong, but I honestly hope I'm right for the sake of Apple not becoming Microsoft.
