I am worried about how fast apple is growing, does any one else feel the same?
apple has entered so many markets in small amount of time. In 10 years they enter music industry by inventing music player, add to it selling music by the first music online store, then they add entertainment to it by including movies and shows and making the ipod a video player too.
They enter the cell-phone market trying to beat both pda's and regular mobile phones. They open phone app store.
other products roll out including an Apple TV, building routers, developing software of photographers and video Office appliction iwork, they open their own retail apple stores, they are going world-wide with it.
I believe in the saying" the faster they rise, the harder they fall"
lets not forget that apple makes the software AND the hardware and they only work with each other. I also don't think that one company can handle so much growth because the world is a lot to manage.
The bigger the apple users are , the less focus there will be on quality and the well being of the consumer. It will be another corporate monster like Microsoft , that will put out anything for the return of money and profit.
I think I already started to see this as we hear apple product has flaws in them like the many complaints about leopard and now mobileme they also made .mac a paid for service, lets not forget the laptop battery heat problem. I am not worried where we are, it is where we are heading that worries me.
