iOS The Fastest Way to Learn Objective-C?

Hi I know I made a few threads about iPhone developing before, but with the iPad I am more excited about it than ever! Now here are my issues.
I have a very mild form of Dyslexia that makes comprehending recreational material (it's not about initiative it's just that we discuss required reading and that helps me understand).
I am looking for a reasonably priced class in the St. Louis Area that will help me learn Objective-C and the Cocoa Framework. Any ideas? What time length should I shoot for to make good iPhone apps (meaning from the time I start learning to the point where I could make a decent app). I know no other programming languages.

Have you checked out the videos on iTunes? There's at least two video courses teaching iPhone programming, one from Stanford university and one from Aachen university. These courses focus on iPhone and Cocoa, but they start with an introduction to Objective-C.

There are other videos that focus only on Objective-C. There seems to be a lot of interesting videos in there, just search on "objective-c" and "cocoa".

I did check out those videos awhile ago and they assume you already know C, which I do not.

1. The Absolute Beginner's Guide To C
2. Programming in Objective-C 2.0
4. Beginning iPhone 3 Development

the 2nd n 3rd book are reali good, in fact before you finish reading the 2nd book u can actuali start reading the 3rd one, Kochan and Dave Mark rocks!

i m reading More on Iphone SDK 3.0 by Dave and Jeff, they are the gurus.

Those are the two books that I'm using now. Havn't finished the kochan one and am going through the second now, it's working out great!
