Is any of your iphone experiencing this? All menus of App store on my iphone are working except 'Featured'. I mean, the App store shows apps in featured section but if I click one of them, it does nothing.

I wonder if this is a known bug or not. My phone is just a week old (with 5.01).

Thanks,

Has it worked in the past or has it always been like this?

Try killing all of the apps from your multitasking bar and then perform a soft reset. Hopefully that'll help.

Thanks for the reply.
I didn't pay much attention to this. But as far as I remember, it worked in the past and stopped working.

By the way, I'm totally a newbie for the ios stuff. What do you mean by killing all of the apps and doing a soft reset?

Thanks,

I just performed a soft reset and everything is working. Now, I'm gonna google what 'killing an app' means....:)

Double-tap your home button, watch the multitasking bar come up, press and hold on to one of the apps, and they will start to wiggle and have a red circle with a white dash in the middle on the top left. Press the red circle on one of the apps and it should disappear. Repeat for all apps in the tray until no more are there.

Thanks kyotoma for the details. Just one more quick question.
So, basically what it does is delete the app from my iphone right? If so, does it delete the app permanently. If so, how do I reinstall the app? Just syncing will bring it back?

Thanks again.:)

No, this doesn't delete it from your iPhone entirely. All it does is remove it from the iPhone's running memory, much like closing Microsoft Word in Windows. It's no longer running but still installed on your computer.
