If you haven't checked out Flickr lately, it's been improved a bunch.
There are new storage limits and such, mainly benefitting new users. But they've lifted some limits on Pro members, although that category is no longer available. But you can continue if you have it.
And there are better views and online tools. The iPhotoish timelines are nice.
But the really freaky thing is Magic View. It automagically groups not only landscapes, people etc, but breaks those down, to like landscape-sunset and people-children. It gets a lot wrong, of course (although it ID'd a twentyish friend of mine as a child, which is actually more accurate than they could know...especially given he's acting like one in the photo. Scary). It found lots of dogs, cats, buildings, mountains, etc. Even it's misses were sort of interesting (like the "monuments" in Monument Valley area winding up in "buildings").
Check it out; it's a big improvement.
