Hey everyone,

While playing some 3D games with the macbook air 2010, the 320m GPU's temperature reached 88'C(~190'F). Is that normal?

Games: Dragon age, mess effect, etc.
Tested with GPU-Z.

Thanks!

considering gpu temps are always higher than cpu temps under pressure, my cpu temp went to ~73c just watching hulu, i'll say thats normal (for the mba) but it's still extreme!

Thank you for your reply!

Both CPU & GPU temperatures are so high. So I guess I now have a good excuse to focus on study and get far away from those games...

Yeah that sounds about right, when I'm playing those same exact games I get around there. If i use my aluminum cooling pad the temps drop around 4-5C less than they would be without. Still gonna game on it though :p, Mass Effect runs great!

Hey,

What kind of aluminum cooling pad are you using? I'm also considering of buying one. Do you have a link?

And Mass Effect is a great game! :D
