I normally use my Macbook on the kitchen table so, I can use my Apple mouse. I how ever noticed the buttom of my Macbook get's very warm after using it. Can it get too overheated and cause troubles?

Should I maybe have it blocked up somehow so air can get under it?

i will have to download thoes programs, i was wondering about this topic as well. I know I'm not supposed to use my macbook on soft surfaces such as beds and pillows, but I don't really have a choice. I don't have a desk in my room and I don't want to sit in my kitchen and use my MacBook, its too hot in there. What kind of surfaces does everyone use their laptops on?

Another vote for the iLap. Mine helps a lot with my MBP's heat, and it puts it on a great angle to use on your lap. (Go figure) :)
