So, ever since the Mac Pro and the accompanied 6K display have been released, I have been rocking my brain. I’ve seen this honeycomb design before. Finally I figured it out. Do you remember the G4 Cube?

If you don’t, let me refresh your memory. Back in 2000, Apple released what has been described as “the most beautiful computer ever made.” Google it.

Anyway... the bottom of the cube looked like this...

Is Apple paying tribute?
