The HTC One V

Can anyone suggest some apps and skins to customise the HTC One V that I use for work? (I dropped the iPhone 4S I was using last month. ) It feels so clunky and crappy at the moment. I already have SwiftKey to make the keyboard useable. I want it to look more simplistic but I have no idea where to start. (iOS skin? )

Nova or action launcher. Both are probably a lot lighter than sense and the one v is limited on power to begin with
