That entry price was a surprise to me today - reflecting the 13" features not as much. Was hoping for speaker grilles on the sides of the keyboard though, a lot of plain space there.

Went from MBA M1 13 to this new beauty. Honeymoon love for sure, but after one day of usage I can throw anything at this beast, even pro apps handle beyond well. So happy I went this route. The MBP is going to lose a lot of customers going forward with this new footprint.

I just went to the Apple store, and was expecting to trade in my 13" MBA that I bought two months ago.

The store leader instead approved a straight up exchange from the M2 13" 16gb/1tb to the 15" with the same specs.

I was SHOCKED but thrilled that I didn't have to pay any differences. Super happy with this thing!

I have a 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro - it has a better display and more powerful SoC. But I just want to try it out and see if I like it.

Can we all stop for a moment and acknowledge the insane privilege of custom-ordering something to "try it out" and return it rather than just going into the store next week to test a display one out?

24/512GB 15" in Silver to replace decade old 8/512GB 2013 15" Macbook Retina. Been waiting on the new 15" model for a year or more hoping my ancient creaking Mac would survive long enough (which it just has, yay). Opted for 24GB RAM to be future proof for photography workflows and hoping I get another decade out of it.

I decided to try applying for a 0% credit card with my main bank last night and slightly to my surprise was instantly approved with a £5,700 credit limit so I'll be abusing that to order a 16/512 as soon as it arrives

(I'm not in debt or anything like that, it just feels more attractive to be able to pay it off in small chunks over 23 months!)

I’m absolutely loving this thing so far. I was a little worried that it might be too big, but it’s actually a perfect size in my opinion. Seems like they nailed it with the dimensions. The bigger screen is amazing & makes me feel pretty good about deciding to trade in the 13’.

I've JUST ordered the 15' inch with 16 GB RAM and 512 SDD... in SILVER

It was such a struggle to decide on the color. Midnight and those fingerprints? Hell no! Starlight? Too gold for me. And I have the Space Grey Pro from 2018, and I looked really long and hard on it, and it just felt depressing to look at despite liking that the black keys compliment the color. Hopefully I'll enjoy the contrast between the silver and black keys. But it was time for a change. It'll also be more complimentary to my Studio Display and dark Magic Keyboard.

It'll arrive between July 21-25th. Such a long time...for me, but I'll survive

UPDATE: I just got an email from Apple saying it will arrive on MONDAY the 17th!!!

I ordered two 16GB/1TB 15” Airs (Space Gray and Midnight) on announcement day and both show ‘delivers on June 13th’ but neither have shipped.

Sounds like these are store stocked higher end configurations that are already sitting at local/regional distributors and will be shipped overnight ‘express’ to arrive on launch day.

Whereas non-stocked BTO configurations have already shipped or are about to ship from China if you fell into the ‘ships in 3-5 days’ bracket.

So, lots of 15” Airs will be arriving next week. Looking forward to all the first look reviews and posts. I’m wondering if some bigger name reviewers will have them on Monday (or sooner) and will be allowed to post a bit early to hype up launch.

Yeah the 16/1TB versions are always stocked & available on release day. I got the same version. Apple seems to like that configuration quite a bit. Those & the base models will be available everywhere on day one, while the other custom configs will be a few days longer wait.
