So, who here would pick a desktop over a notebook anyday? Forgot those notebook users! Sure, our computers don't have batteries, but that's just one less thing to worry about!

Post why you love your iMac/eMac/Mac mini, and why you'd pick it over a MBA/MB/MBP

I love my mini because it has an extremely small footprint, and my friends are always amazed when they first see it. There's always an "So where's the computer? What?! THAT thing?!"

i love my desktop because i feel like i got more for my money. by that i mean i have more to look at.

its also not as easy to steal.

Imac Core 2 Duo

I went to the apple store to buy a base mb, but was instantly take in by the imac 20''

So I ended up getting the imac

Plus since I tended to use my Powerbook while lying on the sofa, it's got to be better for my posture to sit at a chair!

I love my 2.8Ghz alu iMac because it's screen is bigger than any laptop and still faster than the latest Penryn MBP.

I love my 24" iMac.

I dumped a G5 Power Mac w/22" display before getting the iMac.

I used to own a 15" Powerbook (G4), but it was not needed so we dumped that as well.

Carrying the iMac is a little bit of a hassle, but having the 24" screen to work on while in a hotel room outweighs ( for me ), any benefit of a notebook.

Very happy to say the iMac is " the one ".

Well, I have both and use both dailey, a MBP and now an iMac.

I just bought a gorgeous iMac today. I got the 20", 320GB drive and upgraded the memory to 3GB. I have not seen a screen this gorgeous on another computer so far!

I am seriously in love with my iMac and Apple. I can now throw my PCs into the closet and never touch them again. I have been looking forward to this day for so long, the day when I would be rid of Windows products. Apple rules my life now! I can't tell you how sick of my PCs I had become over the past few weeks, so much that I took one of the laptops and threw it to the floor, It still works thankfully so that I could get my stuff off of it, but that's how angry I had become over using XP lately.

I believe that I will now start using my iMac for syncing my iPhone and most everyday things.

I hope you all can feel how excited I am over my new iMac!! My life is now simple and exciting once again with my apples.

I love my PowerMac because I can stuff it full of hard drives and TV tuners and whatnot.

But then again, I can't feed my internet addiction whilst in class with a desktop, so the Powerbook also has its uses.

Honestly, I can't imagine settling for only ONE .... a Desktop with a Laptop is the way to go.

i use my macbook with a 20" monitor and my mouse and keyboard around 50%.
so i guess i have a portable/desktop solution all in one!

i do want a mac pro very much though.

Love my 24" iMac!

I just unpacked my new 24" 2.8GHz Core 2 Due Extreme with 1TB HDD!

I just got this Mac and I am smitten! I used to have a MacBook Pro that basically was a glorified desktop, so I figured I would go ahead and get the full desktop.

Love this Mac!

I have had my 24" iMac since the new aluminum designs were released last fall. I absolutely LOVE my computer and have no complaints....not even about the gradient or reflective glass. It's all great for me!!
